Maura Megan Knowles is an actress and singer whose mix of sunshine, sass and sophistication have led to a wide range of projects from her role in the critically acclaimed rock musical BARE, to singing and modeling the clothes of Hollywood stars for A&E's The Incurable Collector: Hollywood Fashion Revisited, to this musical C.D. she recorded with Frank Palmieri. Maura has performed her original cabaret show "GET READY, 'CAUSE HERE I AM" at the Cinegrill and other Los Angeles venues.
In the short time that Maura has been in Los Angeles, she caught the eye of Warren Beatty, who upgraded her from an extra to a featured role in the film Bulworth, which earned her a SAG card, and she performed in Francis Ford Coppola's production of Gidget. She has performed lead roles in several independent films and she has had roles on the television shows Becker, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and The Young and the Restless.
