KoKo all I got to say, is the industry is still sleeping on your music. Can't wait til you send me the cd so I can pump it up. You have a gift that can't be explained. I commend the production crew you have also, they implement things in your music that make your music sound natural and unique. Keep up the good work. God bless Meltdown! Don't forget to come get some Good Oils to compliment that singing. Ill make a fragrnace called "meltdown" PEACE.

I wrote this review last year for 4DaSoul radio. I just wanted to share it with a broader audience so that others could know about how wonderful KoKoh truly is. I hope you enjoy and I pray that KoKoh sees this as well.
Incense burning, a soft fall breeze that causes a sheer curtain to billow, a glass of wine, candles lit and smelling faintly of jasmine and sandalwood. You lay on your chaise lounge sipping wine while whispering sweet words of love into the ear of your lover. You look at him/her. She/He looks at you. You embrace and share a lingering passionate kiss. The music that flows softly from the CD player and sets the mood for this scene is Kokoh. “Meltdown” is the name chosen for this coterie of music. It’s absolutely beautiful.
At first glance, Kokoh appears to have stepped out of the pages of the “Ebony Fashion Fair” fashion show. She has a striking resemblance to a young Whitney Houston. She’s a platinum blonde rocking a natural short cut. She’s just lovely. Her music is even lovelier.
This is chill music, y’all. It can’t be called anything but. An entire album of slow jams! How long have we been waiting on this?!? She does it perfect justice. “Meltdown” is the title cut on the album. Have you ever felt like you just wanted to be inside of the one you love?
I don’t mean sexually (this time…wink). I’m talking about when you really love someone. I mean love them so much that you can barely breathe when they’re not around. When they are around, they take your breath away. You want to be so close; you just want to live inside of them. This is the album that you want playing when you feel that way. This is an album that makes you think of them in that way. The more I listen, the more I want to listen. Every single song is about love, real, true love.
“How Far Can We Go”, “I Get Weak”, “Speechless”, “That Takes Me To Heaven”, “Too Close to The Fire”, “Meltdown”, “I Fell In Love”, “Assurance” . I dare you to pick one song that you don’t like. You can’t! Her vocals are impeccable. The feel of Kokoh’s music, the vibe you get when you listen to it, is reminiscent of Anita Baker. How many artists can say that they are in enough of a league to be compared to Anita? Not many.
I strongly suggest picking the album up if you don’t already have it. If you do have it, tell someone that doesn’t have it to go get it. This is the soundtrack to any relationship of love. If you are in love, have been in love; want to be in love, love the idea of love, Miss Kokoh’s album is what you need.
Fire burning in the fireplace on a winter’s night, a bubble bath for two, a romantic picnic; whatever your pleasure or favorite thing to do with the one you love, make it a threesome. You, the one you love, and Kokoh’s “Meltdown”. A perfect fit.
