Producer, songwriter, music coach and performer, Kooshal Dwarka is the epitome of fusion music in Mauritius. His music imprint of classical Indian, Pop and Rock is a blend of melody reinvented for a personalized approach to the world of music.

This young man of 27 has a passion for music since his childhood. As a teenager he played guitar, not knowing that this interest in music would make him an accomplished musician. His curiosity for the arts led him to pursue studies in Entertainment and Artistic expression. Graduated, he worked for the Ministry of Arts and Culture, at the Serge Constantin Theatre in Mauritius, where he will meet various groups and artists. This friction will eventually sharpen his desire to move towards the art of music. Driven by his friend Judex Veerasamy, he opened his first studio in Albion, where he produced several albums to date.

In 2007, he will have the honor to participate in the "Star Dream" contest, where he will present a musical fusion in collaboration with his musicians. Continuing to expand his musical universe, Kooshal deepens his career by producing several well-known artists including Doushan Seetohul, Yogen Chinien, Anne-Marie Luchmunsing among others. He also worked with the most famous artists in concert, like Francis Cabrel, Shankar Mahadevan, Anup Jalota, Manoj Tiwari, Zydeco Experience, Mahalakshmi Iyer, Kwazulu Natal Youth Wind Band, Sextet in the City, Vula :ova Arts, U.S Naval Forces Brass Band, and other famous local bands.

Perfectionist by nature, Kooshal imposes his own rules regarding the production of his albums. "Before producing an album, I deeply consider the personality of the artist and I study the market trend. I always put up to it so he can feel comfortable in his job, "explains Kooshal.

Right now, Kooshal working on a contemporary/modern dance show, entitled "Love and Everything Else", comprising of ethnic fusion music from his first Album "Spicy Experience - Episode 1", with the OMADA Dance Company in Mauritius. "This show is a real challenge. However, I love working under pressure, and achieving the impossible is my cup of tea", says Kooshal ..
