Album Notes

Koozito is San Francisco based singer/songwriter Craig Koozer plus a rotating cast of characters.

This album brags a full compliment of interesting sounds and textures including Upright Bass, pedal steel guitar, bamboo chimes, found sounds in combination with a variety of dissimilar moods and songwriting styles.

"... As the name of this album implies, Koozer weaves a variety of dissimilar moods and songwriting styles into a connected experience -- like flipping through channels on a TV midnight movie binge, viewing an afternoon short film festival, or browsing a compilation of short stories. ..."

Album is meant to be listened to from end to end in presented order, but for the strongest hooks listen to #1 - his radio song (pop with undertow), #5 - halos (sensitive guitar/drum duo), #7 - st. annie (driving barn-burner), #9 - hindsight.

Another highlight that demonstrates the range is #8 - the second plague -- an instrumental that includes a frogs and crickets in the background of the entire piece.
