Now 22-year-old Erik Koskinen came to love his father's folk and blues music while growing up along Lake Superior. He has been performing his own music in bars, clubs and festivals in the central mid-west and east and west coasts for the last six years. Referred to as "the Kid" by his peers, Erik has already gained the education of touring.
Erik's rhythmic style is instrumentally powerful and his lyrics introspectively honest. "The Kid" continues to do what the greats before him have done; expose wisdom far beyond his years.

Mellow, driving acoustic blues.

This is a great compilation of mellow, driving blues in a pure acoustic form. My favorite songs are One Step Closer, Just a Little Bit, and Just Because, and I like them because of their lyrics, Erik's mellow voice, and the pure simplicity of the music.
