Album Notes

Ko-Thi Dance Company, founded by Sierra Leon native Ferne Caulker in 1969, is THE premiere African Dance Company for the state of Wisconsin. The company is a national and international touring entity, as well as a solid cultural treasure of Milwaukee.
Ko-Thi travels to Cuba, Africa, Trinidad and beyond to discover the art forms within the African Diaspora, any place where Africans were displaced and existed. The company researches, educates and transforms the ancient into contemporary with quality and a theatrical excellence.
