Since coming together at the end of the last century, Junior Krauss & The Shakes have dedicated themselves to playing blues music in the classic style of the original stars. All of the members of the band have been established on the regional music scene well over 20 years, and this group represents their forum of choice for expressing their musical talent.

The band’s influences and sources of inspiration are diverse, from such icons as Little Walter Jacobs, Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, Big Walter Horton, Big Joe Turner and Freddie King, to contemporary artists like Sugar Ray Norcia, Duke Robillard, Kim Wilson and the late Lester Butler and William Clarke.
