"uplifting instrumental music that will heal you from the stresses of life"
author: PA Musician Magazine (January 2007 issue)
If music has the power to heal, and there are many schools of thought that agree, then Glenn Kricher’s debut CD “Unspoken” is just what the doctor ordered. “Unspoken” is an uplifting CD of New Age (in a good way) instrumental music that will relax and heal you from the stresses of life and is guaranteed to leave you feeling better for having listened to it. From the opening, triumphal “Wood God” through the reggae-tinged “Optimystik” and the Phil Keaggy-esque “Victorious One” Glenn Kricher delivers beautiful, thematic soundscapes-without-words song after song. Melodic, processed electric guitar lines float above open, spacious acoustic rhythms all supported by drum and percussion loops in tightly arranged, well constructed songs throughout “Unspoken” Many times in instrumental music the songs are mere excuses for shred-guitar mania that is nothing more than guitar calisthenics but Glenn Kricher seems to always play for the song and that is what sets this CD apart from the rest of the instrumental music pack. The only misstep on the CD is the inclusion of the songs “Cajun Kenny” (a swampy, delta blues number) and “Caper” (too much a rocker). Both are fine songs on their own merit but just don’t seem to fit the mood of the rest of the music on the CD and almost break the flow created before and after them. That is however a very small quibble for a well-recorded, professionally packaged CD. With his debut CD “Unspoken” the doctor IS in. Take 2 “Unspoken” CDs and call Glenn Kricher in the morning. www.cdbaby.com/cd/kricher

"A cool little do it yourself progressive instrumental CD, Unspoken, by Glenn Kricher features a wild range of instrumental tracks, from sonic New Age T. Dream style guitar to a more rootsy instrumental rock sound. Fans of groups like Oregon and Ralph Towner or Steve Tibbetts should check out Kricher. " -20th Century Guitar Magazine

EXCELLENT CD!! I'm Ready For Another!!
author: Rob
This CD provides a truly great listening experience! I love the layered mix of instruments he uses in many of the songs (and the piece "Cajun Kenny" is AWESOME...I can't keep my foot from tapping during that whole number!!). Other selections from the CD, such as Wood God and I Wish, are relaxing and very enjoyable.
I particularly enjoyed the acoustic guitar parts that can be found throughout the CD. Glenn's use of instruments is unique. The CD isn't too hard, but certainly won't leave you needing a nap!! Personally, I find this to be a great CD for anyone who enjoys instrumentals. The only critique I would have is that the artist leaves us wanting more songs!! I'm Looking Forward To The Next CD!!
Overall this is an excellent CD. I would highly recommend it to everyone!
