The Big Bang Theory: In a moment of extreme heat and volatility, all the cosmos aligned perfectly to create an explosion. Fragments of this explosion landed in space, and one in particular entered into unfertilized ground near, but not on Uranus. From this fragment life was than given to it. Nine months later on December 20th 1980 a star was born.
Debuting her single EMPTINESS Kriss-O is a star on the rise. Kriss-O is a multifaceted performer, including singing, dancing, acting, modelling and writing; lyrics for music, short stories, and short movies, making her talents of meteoric proportions.

Kriss-O conceptualized the song, wrote it and performed all the vocals, than handed it over to Skitz who produced all the music. While working together they amalgamated their ideas to what now is an unexpectedly powerful, thought provoking, emotional, and fun -to-sing -along -to dance hit.
When asked about what she wanted people to think about the song Kriss-O responded "I hope most people can't relate to this song, but the reality is most of us can. It's kind of about love tug-of-war. I really hope to evoke emotion; the essence of being human is our feelings, and memories. I would like to leave the final interpretation to the individual listener."-Kriss-O. With a title like EMPTINESS it is not a surprise that many eyebrows have been raised. The song portrays a person who seems vulnerable, needy, and yet sexually confident, and articulate, with lyrics like 'when I reach for you, needing, you, begging on my knees I'm pleading you to be near to me, look into my eyes and undress me.' . Kriss-O seems to sum it up by saying " All people need to feel full of love and adoration, and when we expect that from certain people in our lives, and do not receive it, there is lack, or emptiness," .
EMPTINESS may be the title of her debut single, but this young woman's life is anything but. With an entire album on its way, and constantly working on film, music and television you can bet her life is full.

Question and Answer with Kriss-O
Q. When did you first know you wanted to be a performer?
A. I've always known. Ever since I could remember I was putting on mini-performances
for my parents, and who ever else would pay attention.
Q. When did you begin to take yourself seriously as a performer?
A. I began modelling when I was ten, I would go to singing auditions for various
competitions. I always had a burning desire to make something of myself, but often
lacked direction. About five years ago I actually came up with a career plan.
Q. Kriss-O is such an unusual name, what is the origin?
A. Thank you, it was a gift given to me by a friend who basically abbreviated my full
Christian name. At first I was opposed to it, and every time I would go out with her
she would introduce me to people as Kriss-O, eventually it grew on me...now I like it.
Q. It has been said there is no business like show business, what most attracts you to this
line of work?
A. Fantasy. I love to dream, and play make-believe. Show business is more than just
self-fulfilling, it also gratifies the viewer, it is an ultimate escape, a place to forget, and
imagine.
Q. Where are you from?
A. I was born in Toronto, Canada, where I lived for six years then my family moved to
Brampton, Ontario. Just one month after my twenty first birthday I moved out on my
own to downtown Toronto. I travel a lot though, so I consider myself Universal...you
know defying all borders and boundaries (giggles).
Q. Where do you see yourself five years from now?
A. I see myself touring, creating more records, acting...well everything I'm doing now,
but with more intensity, and greater awareness. I really just hope I can hit my goals,
and make people smile along the way.
