“The gate is open” is the title of Kristen Grove’s debut album .
A gate which opens up introducing you the music world of Kris to reveal her artistic soul as in a sunny garden where poetry, romantic visions and fabulous stories take place.

A world which takes you away: intimate, eclectic, fascinating. Almost as a “circus” for the colours and the shadows suggested ; sang and described with a sensual and soft voice.

A world suggesting the different faces of an iris… So different from the public image we all have of Kris TV showgirl of MTV fame , but at the same time so related to her familiar smile and irony.

Kristen was born in the U.S.A. and came young to Italy to study art.

She starts a modelling career and meets her alter ego Kris to form “Kris and Kris”, one of the most known duo on MTV and other Italian Music TV shows.

Her life is between Miami ( where she hosts programs for MTV South America for one year) , Ibiza, London , New York and Milano. In a vortex which takes her to meet some of the most important music artists in the world. A constant feeding for her true , main passion: writing and describing her inner world.

During the year Kristen has been working on her debut project which is reaching a final goal … Or better , a new starting point… Kristen invites us in her garden…the gate is open.
