Album Notes

Kristina Emmott is a 22 year-old singer/songwriter hailing from rainy Vancouver, British Columbia. Her life can be simplified in a few basic terms: books, music, travel, and chocolate. During her childhood, she often found herself listening to her dad's old records - The Beatles, Queen, Paul Simon, The Rolling Stones, Joni Mitchell, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Eric Clapton, The Bangles, and Men Without Hats... to name a few. Those musical influences, coupled with an ever-expanding book collection, eventually led to the desire to write and discover modern music. Kristina started writing music in the summer of 2007 and her music ranges from bright, uplifting, and silly to pensive and serious, but all her songs are written to touch and move her listeners. She is flighty, and is known to travel randomly and spontaneously, constantly in search of new inspiration. Her words are honest, and the best part is that she doesn't whine or complain about it.
