Kristina Michelsen is a singer-songwriter living and playing in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. She was born and raised in New York City until she moved north to Vermont for her continuing education. Kristina has been singing and playing music since childhood performing in orchestras, school musicals, choirs, and several bands. With songs of her own and armed with her Taylor guitar and an ever-growing collection of acoustically and lyrically driven songs, Kristina has played continuously over the years at bars, parties, farmer's markets and small venues. As audience praise for her songs grew, Kristina decided to record her own CD with Greensboro-based producer/musician Randy Bulpin at the helm. “Pixie Dust”, the resulting twelve track CD, is an eclectic blend of folk, roots rock, and acoustic grooves featuring the songwriting, vocal and guitar talents of Kristina Michelsen accompanied by some of Vermont’s foremost musicians. "Pixie Dust" was released in August 2007 and will be available at local music stores and retailers, and also online music distributors such as CD Baby and ITunes.
