Album Notes

Kristine is a classically trained music graduate of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She is also an accredited Music Therapist and has recorded four Cd’s of original music. The music for her first musical, (the sold out production of "Mr. God, this is Anna"), was acclaimed to be “…everything one looks for in a musical score: sophisticated yet accessible; haunting yet hummable.. so far above the conventional community theatre standard as to be virtually beyond criticism”. Alex Browne, Peace Arch News. The score for her second musical, "The Perfect Breadbox" is an intricate matrix of vocal harmonies and dance, combined with an inspiring story of love.

"The Perfect Breadbox” is a wonderful blend of musical styles. A good description was given by stage manager, Dennis Kristos “… eclectic and wonderful stuff – jazz, a bit 'o' blues, klezmer, new-age, reggae, rock, swing, a touch of G&S and two very poignant and moving ballads.” With a cast of 30 singers and a live band of outstanding west-coast musicians the music is sure to inspire.
