Album Notes

Kristine Stout is a handbell soloist. Many people have seen and enjoyed handbell choirs, but soloists are quite rare. Kristine plays three octaves (37 bells) of English Handbells all by herself. Using a combination of ballet-like choriography and handbell "weaving" techniques, Kristine creates a stunning visual and audio musical sensation.

This CD, Kristine's newest, features familiar Christmas melodies and Kristine's wonderful arrangements for handbells and digital keyboard orchestrations. Every note you hear has been arranged and performed by Kristine. She is a "Symphony of One". Says Kristine about this CD, "These are melodies that I grew up with - they're like my friends. Some of them have been in my mind and my memory as far back as I can remember."

Kristine performs her music almost every day. She and her husband Kirt own and operate "The Joybell Theater" in Nashville, Indiana, where they schedule two shows a day almost year around. When she's not performing at her theater, she accepts bookings off-premise. Check out her tour schedule on her webpage at www.joybelltheater.com.
