Kristi rae. I had the extreme pleasure of meeting, sharing, and playing with Kristi while she was putting some of this collection together. I can in no way accomplish all of my heartfelt sentiment towards her in a shortened marquee such as this album review. Beyond being a lovely and understated pillar of honest-introspect, she has honed a completely awesome craft when it comes to sonic storytelling. Kristi is dynamically focused while weaving her natural radiance into a lyrical/musical thoroughbred that cannot be ignored; moreover, it will be remembered and cherished.

This CD is surrounding me currently. I'm often in my studio drawing throughout the night, and as Kristi's music echoes into my walls, my artwork flows out with simultaneously serene and intense forces. I listen to her in my house as I wake in the morning, in my car as I cruise Austin, and the music is in my head in between. Yes, I love this.
