My name is Krystal Star Bolin and I would like to tell you a little about myself and my love of music.In the early 80's
I released a 45 called Cold Stone Wall and BillBoard magazine picked the song as a double sided hit.That was until the oil crunch hit and took the investor right out of the picture.The band Texas Style was formed and on the road we went,promoting the song from Corpus to Albq.I enjoyed the radio interviews.I did a concert with Eddie Rabbit and his band Candy Mountain for at least 6000 people.I have worked with a show band called Trinity doing 50's to songs that were popular on the radio at the time.In Sept of 1985 I started a new tour as a duo,calling ourselves Starlite.That tour started in 1985 and did not end until 1991.Yes you read it right.Both of my children were born on the road during 1988,1989.In 1991 I began singing karaoke in the clubs here in Galveston Texas and starting my own bussiness on the side.I was an extra in the HBO movie Don't Look Back,with Eric Stolts and Jeff Corben. I have had articles in local music news papers.I enjoy playing the piano,bass,accoustic,but only when I am writting music. Sohere I am ready to release a one song tribute to the soldiers and their families saying thank you for all that they do.I am planning to follow this CD with one more of 11-12 original songs.Songs have been written,just need to get into the studio! Hope you got to know a little more about me.I have had the honor to meet some of our returning soldiers and they seem to love the song.I have been working with retired Col Gary BaberUSAF,President of the SanAntonio Area Chapter of the Red River Valley Fighter Pilot's Association.Otherwise known as the River Rats.They have a wonderfull organazation that helps out the soldiers and their famlies.
