If you ask Krysta Nick what she wants to do with her life, she'll say, "All I want to do is sing, play my guitar, write songs and entertain people." From the very beginning, Krysta’s mom and dad will tell you their little girl wanted to sing…. and sing she has! With over 200 performances notched into her fifteen-year-old belt, this young artist has already worked her magic on the Braves fans at Turner Field with an a cappella rendition of The National Anthem that left them standing.
A gifted musician by nature, Krysta began her public “career” at the age of seven with an impromptu performance at a local karaoke establishment. From there, her talents landed her in recording studios, and eventually to the more serious honing of her vocal chops under the tutelage of vocal coach, Lisa Rosemond of Jan Smith Studios (Atlanta, GA).
“Our goal from the very beginning was to allow Krysta to be herself in a business that attempts to make young artists become something they’re not. We teach her the skills to stay healthy throughout her career, and the rest is up to her,” says Rosemond. In addition to her ongoing vocal work for over seven years, Krysta continues to hone her skills by also taking keyboard and guitar. Though she enjoys the camaraderie of working with other musicians, Krysta is completely at home on a stage with just her guitar.
In addition to developing and performing her own singer/songwriter material and some of her favorite covers, Krysta is also a regular vocalist and acoustic guitar player for the worship teams with North Point Community Church, Buckhead Church, Southside PTC and Heritage Christian Church, Through it all she continues to raise her own bar of excellence.
“If it’s good, and if it’s music, then I’ll sing it!” she says candidly.
Above all, Krysta is still a teenager, and through her bedroom door, you may hear pop, country, classic rock and maybe even rap! She loves it all and continues to define her own sound. With her catchy melodies and soulful tone, Krysta brings her own identity to any genre that she sings. "Why would I want to sound like everyone else? I have my own style,” she states with confidence.
So, what happens next? If it's up to Krysta, we'll certainly see her on a stage somewhere doing what she came into this world to do.
HI, I'M KRYSTA.....
Thanks so much for your interest in me and my music, I really hope you'll check out my CD and come to a show. I have lived a glorious 15 years on this Earth. I’m a fun-loving teenager with some pretty awesome friends. I like bright colors, painting my nails, shoes, and pretty much everything else. I’m crazy, fun, weird, funny, and I laugh a lot. I sing and write songs about what I feel and think. I find classic rock music fascinating and my goal is to have a t-shirt for every band that I admire. I am the baby of two older sisters, and the child of two amazing parents! I am 100% positive of what I want to do for the rest of my life: sing, play my guitar, write songs, and entertain people. I’m so excited for what’s to come and can't wait to see what the future brings! Now that you know a little about me, I hope you'll come along with me on my journey.
A FEW COMMENTS ABOUT KRYSTA....
"It's been our pleasure to watch Krysta grow from a talented 8-year old kid with promise into a 16-year old artist to be reckoned with. And it's been a total honor to have been involved in the development of her craft from singing and song writing, to playing guitar and piano. We're all so very proud of Krysta and can't wait to cheer her on as she moves her career into a national realm and shines that light continuously forward...and to selfishly say, we knew her way back then."

The first time I heard Krysta, I knew she had "IT", and by the way, she was only 12. She's now 15 and a pro in the studio and delivers live. Be sure to check Krysta out soon!
