What do you get when you put one of Larry Norman's former guitarists with a dynamic blues harp player. You get one
Hot Blues & Folk CD from a group called, The Back Porch Pilgrims. From the Halls of Flat Rock Records who brought you Blues Legends Yank Rachell and Pat Webb comes one of the hottest blues/folk projects in years. Combine screaming guitars, whaling harmonica and a foundation of funky bass rhythms, to deliver a juicy and tasty serving of blues, gospel and soul. On the other side ,they bring you sweet, melodic, acoustic folk with powerful lyrics and earthy vocals. This is a must have CD for Folk/Blues/Gospel music lovers.
Note: Sometimes the right mix of tunes and just that right
sound emerges that will be an unforgettable CD.
This is one of those projects.

Ken Tucker is a friend of mine but I always give critiques to anyone without "sugar coating". This is a very moving and fun album to listen to. It's got some great songs with great messages and they sound great too!
If you enjoy Guitar Playing, Christian Background, Soulful words and Talented Voices then this CD is for you!!

This CD has much to offer. Listen closely to the lyrics as they will really make you think. You can tell the words come from the heart of the writers and the music is very well done and makes you want to sing along.
