With such seemingly unrelated influences as classical, electronic, rock, jazz, dub and hip-hop, String Theory is so much more than the sum of it's parts. Beyond the words fusion or eclectic, this is music that joins our forgotten past with the distant future.
One can simply enjoy Darryl Kubian's soulful playing, the profoundly moving compositions, or the beautiful production and be richly rewarded. But it is on repeated listenings that one becomes aware of something enormous, the reunion of science and religion, but this comes later.
In the meantime, just groove on Jay Dittamo's kick-ass drumming, the beautiful harmonies of the Antikythera Strings, and this musical journey to a place we once knew, and will know again.
