Album Notes
A project inspired by the talented students of the International School Moshi (ISM) in Moshi, Tanzania, songwriter Kurt Ebsary makes his album debut by harnessing the energy of these students into catchy , memorable pop songs. An album spanning all genres of pop, "Smooth Livin'" touches on influences of soul, reggae, funk, and folk. Ebsary uses the young but mature voices in a variety of ways; from a pop-anthem chorus sound to smooth "oooos" to student soloists, even recording a primary choir into the title track, "Smooth Livin'". Featuring powerful vocal solos by ISM students Sam Magesa ("Reason for the Seasons"), Neema Ntilatwa ("You Take Me Higher", "Moonlight on the Mountain"), Selma Munde ("Smooth Livin'"), and Isaac Mubangizi ("Here to Stay").

Thumbs Up
Really enjoyed listening to these tunes Kurt!! Loved that you were able to work with young students from the school in Moshi -- what a great opportunity for them as well! Good luck on your endeavors!
