"Fantastic, Magnificent!" -- Lloyd Barde (Backroads Music)

"After listening to “Kindred”, you may just feel as I do and not take this CD out of your player for quite some time. . . The vocal tracks are perfectly woven in with the instrumentals and provide a new sound for those listeners familiar with Wood’s previous works." -- Gregory Johnson (Beetcafe.com)

DESCRIPTION:
Voices of nostalgia and joy will take you on a spiritual journey from American Southwest plains to Ireland’s misty moors and beyond. The stories they sing are set against modern grooves and ethereal arrangements to create a rich listening experience.

May the music remind us we are all connected –- bound together by spirit, as well as our appreciation for beauty. Indeed, we are all. . . Kindred.

ALBUM INFORMATION:
Kindred was debuted April 4th at the Deepak Chopra meditation workshop/retreat, "Seduction of Spirit," in Austin, Texas, with Wood as the feature performer. Ten percent of proceeds from this album benefit the Great Promise for Ameirican Indians charity.

ALBUM QUOTE ON ARTWORK:
“We cannot destroy kindred: Our chains stretch a little sometimes, but they never break.”
-- Marie de Rabutin-Chantal, writer: 1626-1696.

superb, just mellow enough but with energy. I enjoy my thought processes a lot more with music like Kevin's and Kindred, like Sacred before it, is warm to the soul. I loved it!
