Check out on New York's newest underground industrial music sensation !! Kx was founded by Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter Marinho Nobre who shortly after the break up of his former band "Wrekage NYC", teammed up with his former band bassist and right arm Ze "Yoggy" Grey when the actual project began being composed. Tales of Agony was recorded in New York at Kx's own "Warhog Studios". A few months after "Tales of Agony was finaly recorded, the search for talent to represent the projet began and right out of a casual friendship at the 48th Street music block in NY comes "Eddie Weber",(Overdose), who now acts upon rhythm guitars, keyboards, backing vocals and programming. In late 2001 Kx also met, auditioned and hired John Macaluso ( Yngwie Malmstein, Foreigner ) to ad up an intense groove to Kx's elektro-hellish sound... Along with being a great release jam packed with way trippy songs, "Tales of Agony" has special guest appearances by Biohazard's Evan Seinfeld, brazilian Piano virtuoso Guilherme Arantes and Staten Island rapper and producer Rebble Dainja. An intense blend of drum machines, sequencers and samplers along with a wall of distorted guitars, pouding drum beats, eerie beds and fierce vocals, Kx debut, "Tales of Agony" is guaranteed to take you for a ride... After you buy and hear this CD, make sure to return to this page and check out Kx second release DNA, coming to this web-site on December 2003.
