Kyle Alden is a San Francisco-based singer/songwriter with roots in the traditional Irish music community. In the early '80s he played bass with the punk rock band The Young Republicans, appearing at such venues as the Mabuhay Gardens and the Sleeping Lady Cafe. He has worked with producers Jim Brunberg in Portland (Ballad of a Sleepwalker)and Scott Mathews in Mill Valley (hubbub). Currently finishing up his first full-length CD with producer/guitarist Robert Powell, this new collection of Americana and folk-rock songs should be available in early 2008.
