Album Notes

Kyle Woodring is the current drummer for country music star Deana Carter and rock legend Dennis Deyoung. Kyle has been a first call drummer in Chicago, Nashville and LA for fifteen years. He has played or recorded with artists such as John Mellencamp, Survivor, Robbie Fulks, Blue County, Julie Roberts, George Michael and many others.

This compilation of music, however, reflects an artist deeper than that of a bashing drummer. Quite ironically, this album of music has little to do with drumming and more to do with the struggle between light and dark in the heart of an artist and father.

Kyle's music is very well done, creative and fun to hear.
author: Paul A. Tidemann
Kyle offers a fine variety of music on this CD and has a clever connection to a child's life which is something not often done in an adult genre. He uses his percussive ability but does not make that an up front aspect of the music. It is pleasant and hopeful to hear.

This CD is Refreshing!
author: Jon Droscha
Kyle has written beautiful melodies which is refreshing in this day of noise and chaos. That would have been enough, but the orchestration on the CD is also well done. The CD is emotive without being sappy, again refreshing. I hope this is the first of many solo works by Kyle. Nicely done sir!
