ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Kyndrid is an American band that was formed in a small town in the Upper Midwest in 1999. Four eager musicians came together and created a post grunge sound with meaningful, melodic vocals.
Chunky yet crisp rhythm guitar sounds flavored with a heavy and hypnotic lead guitar. The vocals are accented with precision placed drums accompanied by a full and rich bass guitar tone.

Kyndrid was first put together by two brothers, which spent their early years traveling around with their parents on a tour bus. Since the birth and fall of the Grunge scene, brothers Jacob and Jonah Turbessi took part in various musical indeavors, building the unity of what little to their knowledge would later become Kyndrid. The brothers felt they lacked the essential members needed to play a live show or create a diverse musicical sound. In 1997 moving away from the fast pace city life a young talented guitarist named T. J. McCarthy from Chicago, Illinois came to the same small town as the brothers. They met through friends and later he sat in for a jam session. They new right then T. J. was a great match for the style of music they played. Kyndrid now had a rhythm section with T. J. on the (Guitar), Jonah on the (Bass & Vocals) and Jacob on the (Drums). Kyndrid was only a lead guitarist away from the sound they seeked. The three piece band played together for a two year period and later in 1999 found a unique and charismatic musician named Nate Economy hailing from Detroit, Michigan. His creative licks and style were undeniably what they were searching for. Kyndrid was then complete with Nate on (Lead Guitar).

Over the last 10 years Kyndrid has played hundreds of shows in states all over the country. They have also participated in many benifits and music festivals throughout the Midwest. Kyndrid has appeared on the same stage as bands such as Soil and P.O.D. Kyndrid's influences include, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Black Sabbath and Rush to name a few. Together the band produced their debut album "Something Else", released on March, 17 2007, which sold almost 1,000 copies within the first three months. Their album "Something Else", spawned great success for the band generating lots of positive feedback from a growing fan base all over the country. Kyndrid can be heard on 93.1 "The Bear", on Friday Night Arena Rock Show. The band is currently working in the studio, writing their new album with expectations to be released in 2009.

Kyndrid just got back from a music filled Midwestern tour and is now booking for the 2009 season. They remain working hard pushing their first album and promoting the new music to come.

Pouring out their blood, sweat and soul on to the stage, Kyndrid has earned three Battle of the Bands titles and is consistantly gaining new fans with each and every performance. The music represents their feelings on life, current events and freedom of expression.
