Album Notes
Like a terrible car crash, at the moment of impact a brain full of memories and or thoughts across the TV screen, and Top 40's radio in the purgatory lobby. A circus of lost shadows, glass travelers forced to live between the walls, not to be seen, but you can hear them if you listen. From this haunted city of New Orleans, Louisiana you can hear one of these unfortunate souls, Kyrt Gates. It all started in 2002 with the brief break up of my band, "Ghost & The Babygrand", I decided to play some acoustic shows, with some of the songs that did not fit with the band. It's like a broken down alter ego of Ghost & The Babygrand, with all the same dreams and nightmares. Like the band I used all my same influences, David Bowie, Chris Cornell, Tom Waits, Jim Morrison, and Pink Floyd. Throughout this project I dug deeper into my hat for a more colorfull mixture of madness, with blues and country influences such as: Johnny Cash, Huddie Ledbetter, Willie Nelson, and Skip James.

raw ,roots, mystic, earthy, acoustic glam!!!!
this guy is so under the radar, but above alot of things i"ve heard in awhile!! someone let me hear this record about a week ago and the more i listen to it the better it gets very dark, very sad, i can relate, where did this guy come from??

"great record , with the voice of sadness, or was it madness"
raw and passionate, with love, war, hate, madness, every ingrediant that makes us human, for those of you that did not have the pleasure of hearing Kyrt's short lived band,"Ghost & the Babygrand" don't worry , don't quote us on this , but i've heard through the vine , that there is a new poject on the way called "The Deadelectric", also another solo record in the future,(Just word of mouth)
