“Redemption’s Price” is a collection of 14 original songs that were recorded “Live” at Faith Christian Center in Jacksonville, Florida featuring Kenneth & Zinea Reese and the Faith Christian Center Praise Team and Band. It also features on drums the accomplished musician Dana Davis who has accompanied various well known artists such as The Winans, Donnie McClurkin, and Byron Cage, just to name a few. Kenneth has been serving as the Music Pastor of Faith Christian Center (FCC) under the leadership of Bishop George L. Davis (as seen on Teh Word Network) since the inception of the church. Before serving at FCC, Kenneth served under the church’s founder Bishop Keith A. Butler of Word of Faith International Christian Center in the music ministry and was also mentored by the late Geoffrey Davis, Sr. . Zinea, his wife and partner serves as the Praise and Worship Leader. Every week this dynamic couple gets the opportunity to lead Faith Christian Center’s thriving ministry of more than 4000 members into the presence of God.

Kenneth and Zinea Reese were both born and raised in Detroit. As a result, their musical influences are wide and deep. Zinea, raised in the COGIC church, brings her gospel flair to the project while Kenneth, raised in the what he calls “COTTF (Church of the TOP FORTY )”, brings his love song influence. This makes for an interesting combination! Even though this CD has not been nationally distributed yet, this collection of 14 songs has reached from Florida to Michigan, even to the Virgin Islands; it has gone from the church to the world; from the park to the prison; and from gospel artist to secular artist. The response has been phenomenal. The churched as well as the unchurched have been moved by the anointing that is on this project. Testimonies have poured in testifying to the fact that healing and deliverance have taken place as a result of listening to this CD. Many who are incarcerated have been set free in their hearts because of the anointing on such songs as “We Are Acceptable” and “Because You Said It.” They say that even the most hardened inmates break down and weep just from listening to the worship. Some people searching for the right words to describe how they are impacted by the CD have said such songs as “Rain Down” puts them in a ‘trance’ while trying to express how they experienced the tangible presence of God as they listened.

Five of the songs from this project have already made it to the TOP 20 on WGCL AM1360 in Florida and the album spent six months straight there. Some of the crowd favorites thus far have been “Because You Said It,” “Rain Down,” “You Are My Father,” “With God All Things Are Possible,” and the title track “Redemption’s Price.” The type of radio response that this project is receiving is almost never accomplished by one project . It was said that one station even played the entire CD straight through. This is unheard of. God’s hand is truly on this project.

Kenneth and Zinea are not trying to be stars; just lights. Popularity, fame, or fortune is not what motivates them, but rather a sincere love for the Lord. They just want to please the God who made them. It is their hearts desire to bring Him pleasure through their worship which to them is more than a song, it is a lifestyle.
