The Lab Teknicians formed in the summer of 1999 in a bedroom in Union, N.J. This group, comprised of Rich Pitta and Joe Vidal, has a unique blend of alternative rock, hip-hop, and R&B which makes their sound distinct and innovative. Rich and Joe have a strong musical understanding and an ability to work well with each other in the studio due to their long history of being family friends. This dynamic duo gives each beat an emotional feel that is unmatched by today's disregard for originality. Unafraid to experiment with new sounds and chord structures, the Lab Teknicians have the potential to continuously push the envelope of hip-hop and R&B production.

Great CD. All original beats and no samples with the exception of M.A.S.H. But it's a cover not a sample. Definitely a CD worth buying. Hot beats. Great lyrics.

Straight From The Lab
author: Si Aura aka Killah
Step It Up Son is a heat track. The Lab Teknicians present a heat formula for the rap equation of hip hop. Hard original beats with nice thought out lyrics over them. Visit me at www.cdbaby.com/si3 . Peace....Si Aura aka Killah
