I discovered this boy/girl electropop/indie dueo via the big stereo website and was delighted to find their album on cdbaby. It hasn't disappointed at all. The highlights for me are Wonton Soup which is a delicious little pop gem about the nerves associated with a first date. Also wonderful is Sparkling which is the most upbeat track on the album and reminds me of first-album era Madonna, and I mean that in a very good way. Very New York Disco meets electro. The rest of the album is great and Carson's vocals are fabulous. Closest comparison I can make is to Annie's Anniemal album.
