Fariborz Lachini has a distinguished career as a composer in Iran and France.
He has released more than 25 albums and has scored for more than 120 feature films and television series in the last 10 years and by far is one of Iran's most accomplished brilliant composer who is fluent in all genres. To note this year's submission to Oscars by Iraq, Requiem of Snow, is scored by him.

Beautiful, contemplative and soulful piano work throughout Silver Winter! I especially loved the degree of elasticity you employed with both the rhythmic phrasing and dynamics. Just enough stretching of the phrases in both of those dimensions to keep the piece from getting too predictable, yet not so much that it sounded showy or felt artificially dramatic.
Great touch, great feel and lovely, haunting melodies throughout. It's not easy to maintain the listener's interest with a solo instrument for any length of time but with this piece, Fariborz Lachini have achieved exactly that.
