Micheal has been performing professionally for 25 years. During that time he has honed and crafted his trade to create a vocal quality that is extraordinary.

Known for quite a while as a songwriter, Micheal finally is gaining the national reputation he deserves as a solo performer in his own right. Says Micheal, "I'm not sure whether I actually started writing mainstream music, or mainstream music just came around to my way of thinking. Somewhere along the line people started to think of me as a Texas Songwriter, pretty funny for a guy from the Pacific Northwest, but hey... their throwing me into the pot with Lyle, Robert Earl, I've even been compared with Jimmy Buffett, fine with me. A pretty good group of guys to be thrown together with. Vagabond Moon is a collection of songs written about real life experiences and situations that I have lived. It is a honest CD, not over-produced, and not alot of fancy studio tricks. Just me, a guitar, and my stories."
