The new release is called "GENO." Twelve new, original songs that will make you want to pull over the side of the road and turn it up!
Gene LaFond is a founding member of the band "THE MERE MORTALS" who, along with the late LARRY KEGAN, were invited to perform TWICE at NEIL YOUNG'S BRIDGE BENEFIT CONCERT in San Francisco, opened for BOB DYLAN, RAMBLIN' JACK ELLIOTT, KINKY FRIEDMAN and performed numerous SOLD OUT concerts in the midwest over the years.
"GENO" was produced by the legendary MINNESOTA MUSIC HALL OF FAMER WILLIE MURPHY of "RUNNIN, JUMPIN, STANDIN STILL" fame. WILLIE MURPHY produced BONNIE RAITT'S breakthrough first album, all of SPIDER JOHN KOERNER'S albums as well as numerous WILLIE MURPHY hit albums. The musicians on this CD are Minnesota's finest.
