Album Notes

With a soulful mix of emotionally charged funk and rock and a captivating live show, Life after Liftoff is emerging as one of Portland's most engaging young bands.

LAL's new underground live release entitled, PAPER MOON, recorded at Portland's Bitter End Pub and Mt. Tabor Theater, is a testament to the power of what live connoisseurs call "the vibe." The record contains 11 live track, two bonus tracks, an improv jam, and a clogging interlude - all a typical night out with Life After Liftoff. What you hear is what you get. No frills, no gimmicks, just straight up evocative indie funk from the soul.

This cd showcases an amazing group of talent whose intelligent, soulful sound - rocks. You'll be dancing on the ceiling by the time you get through this album. I am very impressed.
