Afew weeks since the release of his debut album entitled “Lullaby fi de girls,” Lullaby aka Ainsley Walcott is now the talk-of-the-town.
Lullaby who placed second in the ‘New York Reggae Rising Star 2007’ competition continues to be very popu-lar especially among the girls.
He is very pleased with the sales of his album in New York and plans to expand the distribution to Jamaica and other Caribbean islands. “I am encouraged and motivated by the responses of the people,” he noted.
The Jamaican born entertainer, started singing at the tender age of five years old in the church and at school functions.
Lullaby wrote his first song at age thirteen and has written over fifty songs for himself and other artistes.
He said his career has been inspired by several Jamaican entertainers including the late Bob Marley, Beres Hammond, Sanchez and Ed Robinson.
With his smooth sounds and unique style he has gained much popularity in the Jamaican community.
He started recording professionally at age 16 and has performed alongside the likes of Leroy Sibbles, Everton Blender and Sugar Minott.
