Album Notes

The third in a series of sub tropical, rootsy, rockin', sensitive, fun, danceable, melodic, genre bashing, cds from the founder of Jr. Cadillac, Seattle's #1 party band for over 3 decades. Ned Neltner in his alter ego, Lalo delivers another gem. More good time listening, dancing and carrying on music. Covers include Elvis' "Latest Flame", Shirley and Lee's "Let The Good Times Roll" and Charlie Rich's "Lonely Weekends"...As good as this stuff is, the original tunes really shine here. Lalo has been writing in all the American Roots styles and here are the best examples so far. From the R&B funkiness of "Street Dance", the reggae pulse and uplifting message of "Everything's Gonna Be Alright", the mini novel of "Suzanne" to the autobiographical ballad, "Everywhere" this is just the cd to get the party rolling.

Put it on, turn it up and, oh, we find a Mexican brew helps put things in perspective...
