This score represents the first collaboration between Composer Jeremy Lamb and director Nathan D. Lee. Of their collaboration Nathan said, "Jeremy is a story teller, thats what his music does. He understands how music helps to tell emotional stories in their most powerful way"

In April 2010 "Inspector 42" was awarded the BEST DRAMA and BEST DIRECTOR awards at the STUDENT EMMYS put on by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation. In May 2010 the film also became one of the REGIONAL WINNERS for the Academy or Motion Picture Arts and Science’s STUDENT OSCARS®.
