In a sea of negative, depressed and anti-social music, there stands an artist who reminds us that all hope is not lost. Greg Lamboy combines words of truth with impassioned music that inspires you to care, to question, to learn, to strive, and to love. A talented singer and multi-instrumentalist who's not afraid to be passionate and sensitive but retains the strength and courage to stand up for what he believes in. Weaving unforgettable melodies with award winning song writing and raw emotion, he creates accessible music that wins the hearts, minds, and ears of all who listen.
With diverse artists such as the Dixie Chicks and Spearhead creating music with social themes, Greg Lamboy is part of a growing group of recording artists who put their music where their heart is. But he also walks the talk. Willing to roll up his sleeves and get a little dirty for a worthy cause, Greg has raised funds and awareness for numerous homeless outreach groups as well as donated countless hours to campaigning on behalf of John Kerry for President. His music seeps with the joy he so obviously finds in pursuing all of these tasks.
Whether solo, with his acoustic trio or with his full band, all of Greg's performances are intimate and inspiring. He possesses that rare ability to put into words our most heartfelt emotions and delivers them in a strong clear voice and commanding guitar style. Audience members feel as though they are sharing a moment with a close friend.
Singing since he could speak, the Oakland, California resident and multi-instrumentalist holds a degree in music from New York University and honed his vocal skills with the renowned Judy Davis. Greg's full length CD, Every Drop of the Good is independent AAA acoustic rock at its most ideal, offering a treasure of catchy, inspired acoustic pop marked by Lamboy's powerful tenor and accomplished guitar technique. His eagerly anticipated follow up CD is scheduled to be released later in 2004.

So good I had to share it!
author: Ellen
I discovered Greg's music because of the work he does for a local homeless shelter. After buying the album and listening to it repeatedly, I just had to share it with others! I ordered 4 more: 2 to donate to our school's silent auction fundraiser and 2 as gifts for friends. Great lyrics, great melodies, and great instrumental work from Greg and the band.

He Can Do It All!!
author: Darlene Carruthers
It's wonderful to find an artist who can sing, write songs and play an instrument--all well! Greg's lyrics are particularly inspirational and make anyone who listens, think. He obviously hopes to do a little good and encourages us all to find ways to do the same. Almost anyone who listens can also find some lyrics to relate to personally--I especially love "Every Time," "Another Day in This Life," and Greg's tribute to 9/11. Thanks, Greg--keep em' coming!

Get to know this man and his music!

I can’t say enough good about Greg Lamboy, and his debut CD, “Every Drop of the Good.” It’s been in my regular listening rotation since my first encounter with Greg at a Bay Area songwriter’s showcase last year. It’s not just the fact that he crafts songs that are musically the equal of anything on the charts today – the most notable thing about Greg’s songs are the lyrics; they actually mean something. And they’re not just empty words; he’s out there practicing the compassion that he speaks of in his songs. Do yourself a favor – get to know this man and his music!
