James has this to say about his album “Songs of the Heart”: “This is a collection of songs that I’ve written over the last couple of years that helped to satisfy the more “Adult contemporary” side of my song writing. Most tunes have a nice blend of acoustic guitar and keyboards, blended with various orchestrations and textures. Some with percussion, some without….but all of them Love songs. Many dealt with feeling lonely while traveling a lot, some with the affections I have for the loved ones in my life, even a story or two with things I only dream about sometimes.” “I grew up listening to everything from Gordon Lightfoot to Zeppelin…..I have a great affection for Guitar based ballads and this album gave me the chance to share some of my thoughts…”
