Fiona Lander and Paul Mason, collectively known as 'Landermason' have been writing and recording songs together since 2000.

'ANGEL OF THE NORTH' an 8 track contemporary folk album, is a mix of songs and tunes inspired by their return to the North East of England.

I bought this CD whilst visiting friends up north, I listened to it from the moment I got in my car to until I arrived home 6 hours later and I still could have listened to it again. Haunting harmonies blend with catchy melodies, the sort that you will hum all day long. These guys are undoubtedly one of the UK's best kept secrets, can't wait for the next one!!

a totally amazing CD

i love this CD, the music is so origional and addictive and you never get bored of listening to it. it reminds me of home and makes me so happy when i hear it. Dark Island is wonderful as it is so deep and mysterious, i love the angel of the north as it is so true to the north east and the whistle jig is so light and fairly like. They are a wonderful duo
