Born with the Blues
author: Marv Peck
This is a great genuine blues CD. I heard the cut Mercy, Mercy on the radio and called the station to learn the artist. After hearing some more samples from the CD I knew I had to have this CD! There's so much that passes for blues these days but doesn't move me. This is true blues but the songs don't get boring. Earnest combines the blues with a huge helping of soul, a good dose of jazz, a touch of rock, yet still remains true to the blues. His piano work is excellent, the horn section will blow your socks off, and if this don't get your motor running, it may be too late for you. I'm telling all my friends about this CD!
