Album Notes

"Wheel of Fortune", named for the tarot card, not the TV show, is the first self-titled release from longtime songwriter Lane Tietgen. It features ten tracks, penned by Tietgen, that give the impression of a collection of short stories. That makes you dance.
Tietgen, a songwriter with considerable experience in several genres, has had work covered or sampled by artists as diverse and noteworthy as Ringo Starr and Ice Cube.
Music-watchers and bloggers have described the work as "magnificent' and "a tour de force". Strong praise - maybe well-deserved. One blogger compared "Eight Ball Blues' to a short story by Hemmingway. Check it out for yourself.
This music seems to attract a wide range of listeners, from college radio types to mature listeners looking for new resources.
If you only have a few minutes, check out "Sweet Alchemy" or "Mama Bring that Good Thing Over Here". Fans of longer, more epic types of songs will be drawn to MLK Riot 1968.
Check it and see what appeals to your inner ipod.
