Album Notes

Les Lankhorst has been singing this wonderful old music for years now and has finally recorded it for the rest of us.

He comes from Salina, Kansas and has risen to great heights including starring roles in New York City, the leading role in the First National Tour of "My Way-a Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra" and the role of The Pharaoh in numerous productions of the hit Broadway show "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", including the National Tour. He is now traveling around the world doing his own headlining act featuring MANY of the songs from this cd. Last November, Les starred as Frank in "The Tribute to Frank, Sammy, Joey and Dean -The Rat Pack" in Las Vegas at the Greek Isles Casino!

His reviews speak for themselves...
* "Lankhorst, without being imitative, demonstrates full comprehension of Sinatra's ability to phrase with consummate precision..." The Springfield Republican
* "In phrasing and skill in bending a note to make a musical point, Les Lankhorst reminds us most of Sinatra..." CN&R Newsreviews.com
* "Les Lankhorst delivers the goods, from swagger to swing to sweet melancholy notes..." Chico State Press

This music is the greatest music ever written and is finding a new audience among younger audiences because of other singers like Les who have kept it going including Harry Connick Jr. and Michael Buble'. In such complicated times, the simplicity and beauty of these songs shine brighter than ever.
Enjoy!

REVIEWS

Wow!
author: Jordan
This is true talent. I am not know for listening to this kind of music but I overheard my dad listening to it and I couldn't believe this. I am a usual kind of hip-hop listener (being 14) and this really changed my views about music. He sounds a lot like Sinatra and when he doesn't sound so much like him it's better. I love to listen to this CD and I know that anyone who hears it will fall in love with it.
