La Palma is a french alternative jazz trio. Musicians : Mathieu Harlaut, piano & composer, Sébastien Dochy, doublebass, Eric Navet, drums.
As said Karin Leanen, artistic director Motives Festival (Belgium):
“La Palma, what an exotic name for a trio which perform a peculiar jazz. How speak about this organic univers, which draws inspiration from movie landscapes ? This unbridled music where from people makes his own film, and cast in an imaginary and sensual vision.
La Palma call it « drivin’jazz ». A music « generated in a rounded off space (the car) in movement (the marching landscape). »
La Palma, a cut-down paradise, failed in a cockpit… ?”
