NY’s Lariat spew out 4 songs of grinding metal - really brutal, fast, noisy, & thick with ugly, strained vocals. Mass’ At War With Shadows have a blazing metal sound with sick vocals. Occassional hints of Swedish metal, Slayer, & melody mixed amongst all of the crunch. The breakdowns on this really, really remind me of Overcast.
