In January 2013, break-out contemporary artist Larissa and Marshall Thompson of the world famous singing group The Chi-Lites, released this popular remake of "Suddenly" on the Mediaesque PR record label. The Chi-Lites are best known for their hits "Oh Girl" and "Have You Seen Her?" The blend of Thompson's strong "70's soul" voice and Larissa's fresh airy vocals helped to re-introduce "Suddenly" as the smash hit it debuted as in 1980.
"Suddenly" is the love theme from the motion picture Xanadu, and is also on the soundtrack to the 1980 film of the same name. The song was originally performed as a duet between Olivia Newton-John and Cliff Richard.
