Album Notes
I was asked by director Lee Boot to score this film, a Gold Medal winner at the Houston Film Festival. We chose cello as the background voice because of its versatility and lyrical depth. Around this human instrument I created sound design directly from places where the film was shot: Fells Point (Name That Dream), Rocks State Park (The Nature Inside), Rehobeth Beach (Gimme More Stuff) and the Baltimore harbor (The Euphoria Experience.)

Lee Boot

From the film's director
Lee Boot, writer/director of "Euphoria," writes to the composer:
"Larry, I've been listening to the CD and just lovin' it! It's a totally different experience to hear this music as music and not in connection with a picture. I can't say that any of the pieces sound much like anything I've heard...each is unique and satisfying in its own way. I'm really proud of this music and proud of you! I look forward to future collaborations with you."
