Album Notes
Larry Friends and Family was founded in 1969 as a folk - rock trio showcasing original material. Powerful multipart vocals became a signature for the band as it grew audiences and expanded membership. While the band performed live between 1969 and 1973, LF&F's musical style evolved to bring together classical, jazz, rock and folk elements in original compositions that led to the recording of the full length album of orginal songs entitled "Cycles" in 1972. After 1973, the album remained unreleased. The Cycles 16-track analogue master was restored and digitally remastered in 2007 and 2008, resulting in this compact disc. Lifetime friends, LF&F gathers together annually to celebrate life, family, friendship and the power of music. LF&F reunited in 2009 for live stage performances and will continue to play and sing together for select performances now and in the future.

A Touch of 1970s Folk in the 2000s
Listening to Cycles is comparable to watching the leaves change color and flowers bloom. It's melodic and moody sounds are as natural as the seasons changing colors. The effort put forth in creating this album is brilliantly illustrated in it's vocal harmonies and instrumental compositions. This leads to a beautifully laid tapestry of voice and instruments that can truley be appreciated as a piece of art, especially true when listening to the entire album at one time.
