Album Notes
: My name is Larry J. Kaniecki . As an Orphan, I received my first acoustic guitar when I was a skinny little kid (hard to believe from current 260 weight). I served just at 40 years in the military and was told at age 60 to retire and start to enjoy the golden years (still looking for the gold). Been retired since August 2006. Raised 4 children (1 girl, twins, and another boy) but my beautiful and angelic wife did 99.9% of the raising. I was mostly the heavy artillery when called for.
Strumming my guitar and howling in the air has always been my favorite past time in the privacy of my home. Most of the many, many, many, songs I have made overt the last 30 plus years were spontaneous and came from deep inside. My audience has always been my immediate family on weekends, vacations, and myself at other times. Being retired, has given me the time to focus on my music. I made my first two CDs in 2011. One was a Halloween CD and the other a Christmas CD. I also had my first children’s book (HO HO The Elf) published in 2011. Two of the songs on my Christmas CD are theme songs for “HO HO the Elf” and another character in the book called, “Duplicator the Elf”. I consider this a humongous achievement since I was an extreme introvert (shy and hidden) until my late 40’s. Although I’m now 66 I’m fully alive and looking forward to this futuristic musical ride. Working to expose my music and receive compensation is my primary objective while at the same time I’ll continue my singing and songwriting, spontaneous and/or otherwise. Hopefully those who come upon my name will take a moment to give a listen to my music and want more; if not, I still want to ask the good Lord to bless you and yours.
P.S. My pretend name is NcogKneeTow.
