Album Notes

A few years ago I moved next door to Lori Weintz. I learned of her passion for music, which included singing and playing piano. I suggested she sing a song I had previously written for my daughter Taryn. The song was a country-type ballad called "Fallin' For Your Love", which is the 9th track on this album. I had heard her sing in formal situations but never as a pop/ballad soloist. We recorded a demo of this tune and I was moved by her ability to shape the melody almost effortlessly, creating her own signature to the song. We agreed at that point to record an entire album of original songs, "Let It Be Me" being the only exception (I've always been a fan of the Everly Brothers). Her voice is pure and melodic and I will continue to write and record songs with her in the future. I think this album is a breath of fresh country air... By the way my favorite tracks are #1,#2,and #11. Take a listen.
