Album Notes

Lew and I have been accused of being incurably optimistic, hopeless romantics and even a little bit naive. As I look back over the last year it has taken to produce this CD I think maybe it is true. However, I wouldn’t change a thing. The trials, struggles, waiting and anticipation have helped both of us grow and through it all we both never stopped believing in ourselves and in each other. We also both agree that it doesn’t matter if we become rich or famous for our efforts, but if one person listens and feels better or starts believing in themselves we have made the world a better place.

The other day a person said to me that I surely couldn’t believe in world peace and I smiled and said that I will never give up hope for a world where people truly love each other and look out for each others interests as well as their own and yes world peace. Both Lew and I work with children in our professional lives. I work as a therapist with abuse victims and Lew teaches children with various learning disabilities. Our work with children has taught us that despite even tragic circumstances children maintain a resilient hope for a better world.

Life is a bridge that spans from birth to death into eternity. As each of us crosses that bridge there are many other bridges that intersect in our relationships with God, ourselves, others, all living creatures and nature. The words and music in this CD are a compilation of our thoughts and feelings of love for all that we embrace on this journey. We dedicate this body of music to all people that can find their Heart of A Miracle and cross the Bridge built from love, hope and devotion to a better place.
